Halloween is just around the corner, and I’ve got a special treat in store for anyone who wants to create a gorgeous makeup look for a party or celebration. Check out my post from last year here for tips on creating Vampire makeup, Doll Face, and Cat Makeup. This is a more sophisticated look that would look amazing with a little black dress, a headband, and kitten ears. Enjoy and have a spooky Halloween!
What you’ll need:
- Smoke Gets In Your Eyes Eye Shadow Kit
- Liquid Eyeliner
- PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner
- Black Ice: The Longest Lash Thickening Mascara
- Moonglow Quad Bronzer
- PurePressed Blush
- Mania Lip Fixation
- Brushes include Deluxe Shader Brushes, Crease Brushes, Eye Shader Brushes, Smudge Brushes, Dome Brushes, and White Fan Brushes.
Instructions:
- Apply a thin layer of Sheer Golden eyeshadow to your eyelid using your Deluxe Shader Brush.
- Apply a thin layer of violet eyeshadow in the crease and up to just below your browbone.
- Then, using the Crease Brush, blend all of your colors. Apply Aubergine to the outer 3/4s of your crease.
- Use your Crease Brush to pick up a small amount of Sizzle and blend it into the crease of your outer eyelid. This will create a very smoky and grey look with some shimmer.
- Use a tissue to wipe away any shadow left on your Crease Brush gently.
- Blend the colors to create a smoky, soft look.
- Use your Smudge Brush to smudge Sizzle on the outer 3/4ths of your bottom lash line.
- Apply Nude to the outer 3/4ths of your eyebrow bone using your Eye Shader brush.
- Use Black liquid eyeliner to line your upper lashline and then extend it slightly outwards for a “cat-eye” effect.
- Close your eyelids for a couple of seconds to let it dry.
- For even more drama, apply a few faux lashes before applying your mascara. To add even more drama to your look, try using a few fake lashes before you apply mascara. Here’s a blog that shows how to use false lashes.
- Use your White Fan Brush to pinch together the hairs and swirl them in all quadrants of MoonglowQuad bronzer. Release the hairs now and apply the color to the outer portion of your face, where your hairline meets. When you reach your cheekbones, add some contouring by adding a little more color under them.
- Apply Whisper Purified Blush with your Dome Brush to the apples on your cheeks.
- Apply Mania Liquid Lip Fixation to your lips. Then, apply the gloss after 45 seconds.
